9javerse
9jacom is the first 9ja Cosmos product. It was also the first ever Web3 Country Top Level Domain in the world (cc TLD), launched on 13 September 2022 and serving Nigeria. It was recorded in many local tech online articles. It fulfills two roles. Firstly it is intended to assist in the recovery of technical innovation in Nigeria following the CBN ban on cryptocurrency and a lot of globally leaders in the space being forced to leave. 9jacom domains retail at the very affordable price of $2. Secondly, while the TLD '9jacom' is minted to the Handshake Blockchain, the SLDs (Second Level Domains are regular DNS provided by our retail partner EnCirca. The domains have attributes closer to established domain types and give the youth of Nigeria an easier entry point into the world of Web3 domains. .
9javerse domains possess the same attributes as 9jacom domains. They were released about 10 days after 9jacom. 9javerse is intended to be more appealing to those with an affinity to Web3, Blockchain and Metaverse online 'communities'. Indeed, it was chosen by a poll of The Founders LinkedIn Network which has both strong representation of these communities and strong representation of Nigerians.
9javerse domains are retailed through both EnCirca and Porkbun. Moving forward, 9ja Cosmos will not be releasing further Web 3 cc TLDs on this model and wishes to diversify to different types of technical solutions in development by partners. However, 9ja Cosmos has thousands of Geo centric domains in reserve for when the technologies become available. 9ja Comsos takes its duty of support very seriously and will not be unstaking 9jacom or 9javerse from their retailers, even when the age of our XTHWEB has arrived. Qatar 2022 Series
Qatar 2022 is a collection of Web 3 Top Level Domains (TLDs) minted to the Handshake Blockchain and offered for sale in advance of the Qatar leg of the last World Cup.
9ja Cosmos had another first bringing Blockchain tokenized NFAs (Non Fungible Assets) to the Qatar (or any) World Cup.
As with all unrestricted Top Level Domains (TLDs) sold, prospective purchasers are seen as business peers of 9ja Cosmos rather than consumers, so after-sale support is not offered on TLDs
A very small number of these with blockchain proof of time of issue are still available.
The 'Dino' Series
The 'Dino' Series is a collection of Web 3 Top Level Domains (TLDs) minted to the Handshake Blockchain and offered for sale since the middle of March 2023.
'Household' Dino favourites have long since gone, but about 40 still remain available.
These TLDs are genuine names of dinosaurs which once roamed the earth. Every Dino sold can be verified by visiting the website of the Natural History Museum, UK.
Albertaceratops, Austoraptor, Becklespinax, Dollodon, Stegoceras, Titanophoneus and Valdosaurus are examples of dinos still available.
